Copperstone Dental

Matthew Tuft, DDS

Dr. Tuft is a friendly dentist who truly cares about his patients. He provides high-quality dental care while forming lasting relationships with his patients. He has practiced dentistry in the Treasure Valley, ID area for over seven years and plans to continue his service.

Dr. Tuft spends more than 50 hours a year learning new-and-improved dental techniques to ensure his service is fast and efficient. He is a member of the Southwest Idaho Dental Association, the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics, and the ADA.

To provide the best dental care possible, Dr. Tuft received training on the latest advancements, such as dermal fillers, oral sedation, BOTOX®, and sleep apnea treatments. Additionally, he furthered his education through the White Cap Institute Implant Residency Program, earning him his certification to install dental implants. Dr. Tuft graduated from Creighton School of Dentistry in 2007.

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Tuft enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in outdoor activities, and playing the trombone.

Sean E. Ziegler, DMD

Growing up in a family of Dentists and Physicians, Dr. Ziegler has always been interested in healthcare and helping others. The most rewarding part of dentistry for him is getting to know his patients and providing them with high-quality dental care while creating a peaceful and calm atmosphere.

Dr. Ziegler is known for his gentle touch and high patient satisfaction. His technical abilities and training in the latest advancements in dental implantology, utilization of Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF), digital dentistry, and functional rehabilitation allow him to provide the highest quality care.

Dr. Ziegler graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with a bachelor’s degree in medicine, health, and society. He then earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in his home state of Florida. Upon graduating, he was one of four selected into an elite residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Idaho State University where he was trained in the latest state-of-the-art techniques and technologies.

“When I’m not treating patients, my wife and I can be found hiking the foothills with our dog Abby, doing pottery, camping, and working in our vegetable garden,” says Dr. Ziegler.

Jolene

Office Manager

Jolene joined Copperstone Dental in August of 2020 and she loves her new dental home. She brings over 25 years of experience in the dental field with her. She enjoys working with patients, always striving to make sure they have a positive dental experience. Jolene grew up in Eugene, OR but has called Meridian, ID home for the last 20 years.

When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 20+ years and her three children (two girls and a boy). She enjoys traveling, the outdoors, the mountains, and the beach. She looks forward to helping you feel like a part of the dental family here at Copperstone Dental.

Krissy

Front Office & Marketing

Krissy joined Copperstone Dental May of 2020 and could not be happier. She enjoys getting to know each patient and establishing long-term relationships as well as friendships with them. She brings 15+ years of experience to the table. She started working as a dental assistant and had an opportunity to fill a dual position in another office as an insurance coordinator. She has become very well established at the front and in the back office.

Krissy loves hanging out with her husband and two kids. They like to go on vacations, camping, paddle boarding, hiking, and visiting hot springs.

Melissa

Melissa was born and raised in Mountain Home, AR. She settled here in the Treasure Valley, ID area over 20 years ago. She brings 16 years of experience in dentistry, having worked as a dental assistant and as a front office receptionist.

Her favorite part of the job is the relationships that she has established with patients and coworkers. To Melissa, it feels like an extended family, and she strives to help patients maintain great dental health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 16 years and their two sons. They enjoy camping, fishing, and lots of cooking!

LeAna Yost

Front Office Patient Care Coordinator

LeAna joined the Copperstone Family in February 2024. She brings with her over 15 years of experience. She is a people person and likes to interact with patients and help them have the best experience possible. LeAna is originally from Fallon, NV but has called Middleton her home since 2021.

In her spare time, she loves to hang out with her Case Corso “Oso” exploring Idaho’s beautiful country. She also loves to travel, especially to go see her two grandchildren.

Sophia

Lead Dental Assistant

Sophia first joined our team in October of 2014. She’s now going on over 16 years in the dental field. She takes pride in helping the dentists she has worked for in the Treasure Valley, ID area grow their practices through hard work and dedication. Her primary goal is to provide an empathetic approach to caring for all the patients that she has the pleasure of working with. In the past 16 years she has played multiple roles in the dental field, both chairside and administrative. She enjoys working with the staff and being a part of the ever-growing practice.

In her spare time, she enjoys working on her home inside and out. She’s no stranger to using power tools and completing home renovation projects on her own. She balances her drive to work hard to improve her surroundings with spending time with her partner, family, and friends. You’ll find her in nature going on hikes, mountain biking, skiing, taking river rafting trips, and participating in all sorts of other outdoor activities. She is always on the go working to create her best life and keep her feeling young.

Courtney

Dental Assistant/Marketing Coordinator

Courtney has been part of our team since 2018. She graduated in the top percentile of her class from College of Western Idaho’s Dental Assisting Program in 2009. Courtney loves establishing friendships with patients and making them feel comfortable in our office. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients achieve their dream smile and gaining their confidence back.

“Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone who hates to smile, smile again!” she says.

Courtney grew up in Idaho racing horses, riding dirt bikes, and wake boarding. In her spare time, she’s a successful fine artist. She also enjoys fishing, hiking, working out, going to concerts, and spending time with her family and friends.

Celeste Barclay

Celeste is a dedicated dental assistant with over 12 years of experience. Since 2008, she has been passionate about providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive dental experience. She joined the Copperstone Dental team in 2023 assisting in both clinic procedures and 3D printing designs, fabricating all of our night guards. She takes pride in creating custom night guards, ensuring optimal comfort and protection for patients. Beyond technical skills, Celeste is committed to building strong relationships with patients, making their dental visits as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

She is extremely proud to be a part of a dynamic team of professionals and enjoys working in an environment that promotes continuous learning and innovation. When she’s not at the office, Celeste enjoys quality time with her husband and their five children. She loves to bake, spend time outdoors, and capture fun moments through photography. She also has a passion for home improvement projects, particularly refinishing furniture and tackling DIY tasks around the house.

Jessica

Dental Assistant

Jessica was born and raised in California. She graduated from dental assisting school in 2007, at Wester Career College in Sacramento, CA. Jessica moved to Boise, ID in 2013 where she continues to work in the dental field. She brings lots of experience to Copperstone Dental.

Jessica loves to watch patients become confident with their smiles from routine cleanings, restorative treatment, and cosmetic smile makeovers.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. They enjoy going to the gym, playing basketball, roaming outdoors, and making plans to travel someday.

Kylie

Dental Assistant

Kylie joined Copperstone Dental in 2022, she loves learning new things in the dental field. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new patients and building trust.

She is originally from a small town in Arizona but moved to Idaho in 2017. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her son, husband, and her two dogs going hunting, fishing, and camping. She is excited to be a part of the Copperstone Dental family.

Gracen Buckley

Gracen was born in California but has been in Idaho for most of her life. She joined the Copperstone Dental team in 2024. She loves learning new things in the dental field every day.

Gracen plans on continuing her education by going back to school to become a dental hygienist in the near future. In her spare time, she loves being outdoors with her family and friends. She is excited to be a part of the Copperstone Dental family and can't wait to meet all the patients.

Fabi

Dental Hygienist

Fabi has been with our practice since 2018. She received her Associates of Science from Boise State and her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University in 2015. She takes an individualized approach with every patient and truly enjoys getting to know them. She loves challenges and educating her patients on oral health. She enjoys learning about the new procedures and technology constantly advancing in dentistry.

Fabi and her husband have two beautiful girls and love spending every second they can with them. In her free time, Fabi enjoys spending time with family, dancing, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and so much more!

Linh

Dental Hygienist

Linh joined Copperstone Dental in Spring of 2013. She grew up in Treasure Valley, ID and has been practicing dental hygiene since 1997. Linh is passionate about dental health and enjoys educating and encouraging patients through their dental journey. She appreciates getting to know her patients and building long-term relationships with them. Her attention to detail and enthusiasm to maintain high and current standards in the profession are truly appreciated by her patients and dental team.

Outside of the dental office, Linh enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and cooking. She also loves spending time with her husband and their two boys.

Courtney Anderson

Courtney is an Idaho native. Go Broncos! In her free time, you can find her curled up with a good book, spending time outside, or sitting on the sidelines of the soccer field watching her daughter play on the pitch.

Courtney has spent the last 25 years in the dental field. She started her career as a dental assistant and then returned to school in 2005 for her dental hygiene degree. Education is her favorite part of her job. She provides exceptional care and loves building lasting patient relationships.

Kellie

Dental Hygienist

Kellie is a native Boisean and worked as an orthodontic assistant for 8 years prior to attending Dental Hygiene School at Carrington in Boise. ID. Kellie has been working as hygienist since 2017. Her favorite thing about dentistry is the patients. She enjoys seeing patients on their first visit to a dental office and educating them about the things they didn’t know they could improve on and showing them their progress and results.

In Kellie’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and her golden retriever. She also likes going on family hikes, snowboarding, and spending time outdoors.

Karen

Dental Hygienist

Karen joined our team in 2018 and could not be happier. She misses her patients for many years in Southeast Idaho but has found wonderful friendships here among our amazing dental family. For 14 years, she worked with her dentist father until he retired.

She loves working with people and finds it rewarding to see patients make positive changes for a healthier smile. The ever-changing dental technology is fascinating to her and she thoroughly enjoys working with Dr Tuft, Dr Ziegler, and the girls at Copperstone, who truly are the very best.

Karen graduated from Ricks College and then Idaho State University in 2002. She has 5 kids, plays the piano, and likes to design home trim projects for her husband. Never a dull moment with an ongoing honey-do list.

Olga Sanchez

Olga has been part of Copperstone Dental since 2005, even before it became Copperstone Dental. She has worked alongside Dr. Tuft since 2009 and was a dental assistant for 10 years prior to attending Dental Hygiene school at Carrington College in Boise, Idaho. She has been working as a dental hygienist since 2016 and recently rejoined the Copperstone Dental team in the fall of 2024. She is excited to be back as part of the team again. She loves seeing patients that she's known for years before and meeting new ones.

Outside of the office, Olga enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids and family. She and her husband recently added a new baby girl to the mix making it a blended crew of seven.
